A bit more progress:
Learned that my problem shrinking the existing Win partition with Dfsee
will not work with a FAT32 partition, contrary to a user's install
instructions elsewhere. I didn't see that in the Dfsee docs, but saw a
post from Jan on the dfsee list that tipped me off.
Tomorrow at the help desk, I hope to shrink that partition, install ecs,
add the "other" drivers that I have (I have those on a flash drive),
perhaps figure out how to get the EVDO up and running (it appears
"different" than what I saw with the add-on card), and may be solve the
GEnmac problem for the wireless NIC, and the audio problem. And for an
encore....
