Yes. With pmdf, if I select "Connect", I get:
Opening com1
Error 21 Opening COM1
Going back into BIOS, I'm reminded that the IR is port showing port "B",
and is not cangeable.
Changing PMDF to com2 allows the port to open. I'll try to set the port
in the 770x to com2
