Well, I guess one should not underestimate what can
come out of a Help Desk, such as the one added to the
general meeting yesterday. I had to leave at 1:45.
At that point, things were proceeding slowly, and not
all that promisingly. (Or so it seemed to me.) But
now I understand they really turned things around, and
managed to pull out a victory for two or three of the
participants with issues to overcome.
Sandy, If you get to a point where all troublehooting
indicates persistent and intractable
incompatibilities, I think you may still have the
option of keeping multiple CONFIG.SYS files that allow
you to choose among options at boot time.
