No -- I use all the keys -- just in different ways,
and some get a lot more use than others. I've been
using this Northgate (the former spare) for about 3 or
4 years now, and the key action feels like it is
barely broken in. That's probably a good sign. The
prior NGT lasted somewhere between 12 - 15 years of
heavy use. I'm more likely to use the NumPad keys for
cursor direction, Home | End, PgUp etc. Force of
habit, I guess. But I try to use the inverted-T arrow
keys and the separate Home | End etc. keys as well.
It's good to have the redundancy available, and will
likely prolong the usability of the keyboard.

My intention is to re-use (for the 3rd. or 4th. time)
the Calif. PC all-steel mid-tower case. It makes most
of the cases I see -- now matter how appealing
cosmetically or design-wise -- look flimsy, like they
are made out of tin foil. It has sufficient bays,
etc. I will need to replace the fans, esp. if I go
AMD, and the rocker switch it uses. The main thing it
lacks are side or front USB connections, but I can run
a hub off of one at the back.
