Skimmed that part of the booklet a couple times
earlier, have now read it closely. (I'll check the
guide helfpile too.) Doesn't change the fact that
I've gotten nothing but silence from them in the past.
But I'll certainly try again.
In the meantime, you have no suggestions . . . short
of the next live Help Desk ? I'm about to zero out
that partition and either restore the recent 1.1 image
or try Mark and Ray's clean, no migration,
non-advanced install idea (just in the interest of
thoroughness, though I think we've been there and done
that at past Help Desks), or maybe both.
