Not my exclusive domain. Harry runs SCSI. Schiffman
did, last I heard. And I rather doubt we're the only
ones in the group. But this is a Tower option. No
can do in SFF, such as the Shuttle box. I tried.

Well . . . *practical* does not necessarily inhabit
the same zip code as "possible." Besides what you
mentioned, and even if you can take away space and
excessive heat issues, won't you run out of connectors
or overburden your power supply, once you start piling
on so many of these devices ?

Did I ever hear something about Linux or some other
(non-Win) OS allowing you to designate a HDD as "Joe"
or "Carl", etc., instead of one of those
limited-supply alpha letters ? Or was it just a fever
dream ?
