Ah -- hadn't thought about that. Plus, it doesn't
look like there would be an provision for things like
burning a DVD, printing out hardcopy, etc. Actually,
batteries are already the weak link in a lot of
devices we have now. You can get cellphones that do
streaming video and internet *today*, along with
photography, MP3s, and gaming. But I don't think any
of them offer the kind of battery life that make such
features practical. My cell is basically just a
cellphone. It has a couple of "extra life" batteries
that I'm forever swapping, the other one being charged
when I swap. I bought this phone in part because it
offered longer talk time and standby time than most.
But it still isn't nearly enough per battery charge,
in terms of what I'd really like to see.
