I've not seen anything that really configurable to the level I would be  
able to use.  We are talking really slow here.  One system uses an ancient  
time code reader that simply will not work on anything over about 300MHz.   
To give you an idea of how old, the timecode reader uses IRQ 2.  I keep a  
couple of P166s around for this kind of stuff.
