So, the problem is only when you install on the SMP box? If you copy
pmview.exe from the uni box to the smp box, I suspect you will find it
works. True?
Another test is to install, but cancel the part that burns the key into
the exe. Does this result in a working pmview? I will probably complain=
about the missing key.

No need for this problem, unless you care to learn.
As you probably know, pmview embedded you key in the code. This means
that it must unpack and repack part of exe. I suspect this is failing.
Perhaps there is some code that is not SMP safe.
For those interested in the gory details, like Google, lxlite is your
friend. In this case it's
lxlite -c:exemap -vf- pmview.exe
which for you exe reports

which not only looks wrong, but it is wrong. What should be there is
