I usually build my own, or have a private integrator put it together  
(except for laps, of course).  
 
I've built machines from stuff from Fry's, and when I've had a prblem, I  
can usually solve it, or return it.  My portable box is from there, and I   
like it very much.  I built one for my mother, too, from the same type  
barebones box.  
 
Figure out what you want, and you'll be better off for it, in my opinion.   
And with a build your own - no Windows tax.
