I'm trying again to get WarpVision running on my PCs.

Today, I downloaded and installed Seamonkey 1.0 on my older PC, where I
had been running Mozilla 1.7.8. I also installed as many plugins as I
could use without paying for a product I didn't think I'd need.
WarpVision's plugin was one of the ones I installed.

I have "sort of" gotten WarpVision to run on this PC in the past, but I
don't think I ever really got the Windows Codecs up and running
successfully. Someone sent me a .WMV attachment today, and I tried to
run it just for fun, but I got an error message.
-----
The box said:
Error!
Error while opening file.

When I pressed OK, another box said:
Error!
Error start last played file
-----
On my newer PC, I have downloaded the latest WarpVision, the latest
Wincodecs, the latest Odin, and OdinApp. I've looked around, but not
found a clear "road map" for putting all these elements together. (I
even read Steven's article from 2001 or 2002 on the SCOUG Web Site. Not
too many of the links in there are still alive!)

I see instructions here and there, but getting everything installed and
hooked up seems a fairly daunting task.

Jordan, Steven, or whomever else, can you give me some guidance?
Thanks,
Colin
