Not really. I've been involved with one or two end-user systems over the
years and have seen boot up delays. There's about a dozen different
typical causes. Every now and then, I even fix of the end-user systems.

Well first off, what did you do to cause the IFS load failure?
Second, did you really restore your system to the original configuration
and lose all your installed applications?
I would recommend redoing the single stop test until you have a better
understanding of when the delay is triggered.
