Subject: SCOUG-Help: T42 at SCOUG help desk

Hi Steven & Steve,

Thanks for your help.

Short story. The T42 works well for two hours now which is outstanding
since no longer under warranty. The T42 no longer halts on boot (multiple
times I have tested). Via Lenovo, I only updated the bios to the latest
level but no other aspect of the T42. I have performed all Windows
updates via Microsoft (of course I have deleted Outlook and some other
components).

Now thanks to both of you, I can use Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Media
Player 10.

Regards.

Larry
