Subject: SCOUG-Help: JFS access between eCS and Linux (CentOS/Red Hat)???

I'm not familiar with different flavors of JFS, but
it is definitly supported in some version by Linux.

I used to make use of the ext2 driver for OS/2.
I understand that Linux support for HPFS is quit a bit better than it
used to be, but seems to be shoehorned into a UNIX model more
than you'd probably care for.

Sounds like you had a problem your not going into detail on.
It's probably the CentOS kernel you are using didn't have the JFS
support compiled into it.
