If you mean this

Apparently you edited 'I:/Perl/lib/5.8.0/Net/Config.pm',

well, you did and you knew what you were doing, so it's OK.

If you built perl from source or were installing on linux to the standard
locations, you would not have needed to edit anything. On linux the
warning typically implies that something is wrong.
