I have done no such thing. My "users" apply only to the box they are
using. My wife is a user only on her own machine, but she can connect
to anything that is shared on any other machine. I can swap machines -
and users - in and out of the group without touching any other machine.
This may not be secure if one is running windows, but that is another
subject.
