You misunderstood the context just a bit. I was referring to deleting a
hidden directory, changing the attributes.

It works just fine. You probably just missed it in the docs. Search the
help for the word attributes. The table near line 2443 can be useful
memory jogger, although it contains a couple of unimplemented items.
Since A is used for Available space, it's Alt-A to change directory
attributes.
