Once again, I don't have anything like those directories on my XP system. I just
completed a search (21 September, 05:01:29 AM):

1. I used "tree|more" at the commandline. There were no directories
anywhere near (or something like) "...\valuesdd\msft\net\netbeui\ ..."

2. I used Windows Explorer and did searches on *valuesdd*, *msft*, *net*
and "*netbeui*. There were only hits on "msft" and "net". I drilled down each one of the
"msft" directories and did not find anything having (or remotely involving) the "nbf.sys"
and "netnbf.inf" files. Same with the "net" directory search result.

3. I used Windows Explorer to search for the "nbf.sys" and "netnbf.inf"
files. Once again the only instances are the ones that I originally placed on the system,

C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\nbf.sys
C:\WINDOWS\Inf\netnbf.inf,

to install NetBEUI on XP. Now, unless the Window Explorer program is lying ...,

Sorry, my system did not have the "nbf.sys" and "netnbf.inf" files originally on it.
