I am using (and have always used) 1280 X 1024.

Yes

OK -- I tried that. Midway throught the boot process I heard a beep, there
was much hard drive activity, the monitor screen was blank, and the
monitor power LED started blinking on and off.
On the next boot, I ended up with a blank screen. I tried booting to eCS,
but when I chose that option on the BM menu, the keyboard num lock light
went off and the monitor power LED blinked slowly. I then boot into Warp
again, and everything came up normally that time. (The monitor is an IBM
T750 digital).

No, not as far as I can see. There is an SLI configuration option where
EZ-Plug Warning is Enabled (the default), and SLI Broadcast is Disabled.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions.
Thanks,
Sandy
