Here is some addtional info since my last posting.
I did another restore of both boot partitions -- Warp 4 and eCS -- and
that solved the missing unicode.sys problem.
I then did a desktop restore from unimaint for both OS's, and that fixed
the Warp 4 problems. The eCS desktop now has all the icons that were in
the tray at the bottom of the screen, but many of the other icons, plus
the screen picture, is still missing.
Except for being unable to open a DOS window or a WINOS2 window, I seem to
be back fully functional.
But one more trap 8, and this MB is history.
If I can't solve the dos/winos2 window issue, I may put back the old MB,
but I am hoping to get some suggestions for tweaking the DOS/WINOS2
settings in the settings notebook.
