Subject: SCOUG-Help: Trap 0008

OK -- good tip.

What I did:

I reseated the video card (it is in one of those fancy expresss slots).

What happened:

With Warp 4 I got an error message "desktop could not be found in
os2.ini." I then restored the desktop from a unimaint file and boot up OK.
Now, in Warp 4 there are some icons missing from the tray (in my computer
it is at the top of the screen), and I can't access the internet.

With eCS 1.2 R the background image on the screen is gone as are some of
the icons in the task bar. But I can access the internet (hence this
message).

Would it make sense to restore this desktop (in eCS) also, or is there
some other problem (maybe with this video card)?

How do I trouble shoot the internet problem in Warp 4?

Both OS's are using the same version of SNAP.

Thanks,
Sandy
