Subject: SCOUG-Help: ICON

At the meeting there was mention of the four sizes of ICONs needed to cover
most device resolutions. What are the four formats?

I guess more specifically in today's world which ICONs should be included for
an application so that the file icon and the program's "system icon" etc. look
good?

Having never used the ICON editor before I don't know what all of these
different formats are for.

The ICON editor lists these different formats

9x9 9 x 9
Independent BW Form (=1.1 format) 32 x 32
XGA/8514 - 16 colors 40 x 40
XGA/8514 Small Color Form 20 x 20
Independent Small Color Form 16 x 16
Independent Form - (1.2 format) 64 x 64
VGA - (1.2 format) 32 x 32
CGA 32 x 16
8514 - (1.2 format) 64 x 64
EGA 32 x 32
8514 40 x 40
XGA/8514 Small BW Form 20 x 20
Independent Small BW Form 16 x 16
