Is this a permanent error for a given document? What happens if you do a
save as and print the resulting file? Have you tried setting the print
job settings before trying to print the document?

At this point, I would say it's possibly an OOorg defect. Have you
checked the bug database at the OOorg site? To be sure it's the document
and not your printer setup, you'd need to have someone else try to print
the document.
