I spent 2006 restoring two houses in Big Pine (it's south of Mammoth).
Blew up my truck engine -- Ray will remember my call to him for advice.
(I ended up converting the truck to a trailer and buying a new Toyota
4-Runner.)
This year I've been in San Diego taking care of relatives. Sigh. Looks
like I'll be here for a few months more. I've had lunch with Steve
Carter occasionally when I've been in L.A. He will corroborate that I
haven't lost my mind.
