Hi,
>What browser are you using that has such a function built in?
You mean what mail/client client are you using? IAC, mr/2 ice has that
feature, along with every GUI mail/news client that I know of.
In response to Bob's question, both Thunderfird and Firefox are, IMO,
still works in progress. This is both good and bad. There are a vast
number of unimplemented features. The reason the features are
unimplemented varies. Some are not there by choice. Others are just not
done yet for any number of other reasons.
Fancy quoting may or may not become a core Thunderbird feature in the
future. It depends on whether or not the development team decides it
needs to be a core feature. As it stands now, the extension mechanism
provides an almost seamless method for end-users to customize the Mozilla
apps. Extensions generally work pretty well. This is evidenced by the
number of extensions many end-user have co-existing.
Generally when a Mozilla application feature does not work for me, I check
first on the Mozilla newsgroups to confirm whether or not it's just me.
Then I either to fix my setup or contact the extensions author for
support.
