I think I've forgotten everything I ever knew about OS/2 and computers
in general.
How do I kill a specific socket? I can see the open socket with NETSTAT
-S, and I can see it carries no data using IPTRACE and IPFORMAT.
I have an endless ftp handshake going between me and Hobbes. I was
running wget on Hobbes and killed it (either with Ctrl-C or by closing
the command line window, don't remember which). The socket didn't die,
and FTP (unlike HTTP) stays open "forever". I've been handshaking with
Hobbes for two days now at about 700 char/sec bidirectional.
How do I stop the handshake?
- Peter
