An association? If you have JPG's associated, is the default
association to a program that won't open JPG's? What apps are
associated with the jpg that won't open (right click on JPG -> "Open as"
ARROW -> menu list) and which one is the default app?
I _think_ that the last association you make is the first one the system
tries (it's been a couple of years since I tested for this and I think
that's what I found), possibly because the assocations are put into the
OS2.INI file in LIFO sequence (last in, first out). FWIW, my PMView2000
.exe has no associations but my PM View 2000 object has lots, including
one to *.JPG.
There's probably an Association utility somewhere that will tell you
what apps are associated with *.JPG and type=JPG. My OS2.INI has
"PMWP_ASSOC_FILTER : *.JPG" set for what looks like a local object
number (175801 in my case) and my "PMWP_ASSOC_TYPE : JPG" is also set to
175801. I don't know how to get the name of the object with number
175801 but it's probably my PM View 2000 object.
