Hi Sandy,
Please excuse me, because I'm jumping into this conversation late. Also, I no longer
have Warp 4. Nevertheless, "the ability to double click on a data file and launch the
associated application" - that's what file associations are all about. Warp has that
ability as well as ECS. Therefore, some suggestions for you.

1. Get Association Editor (probably from Hobbes). Use it to make sure that all of
your desired graphic file types, *.jpg, *.gif, etc. are associated with your desired
application (in your case, PMVIEW, I presume).

2. Using the drive icon, go to one of your grraphics files - one that does not open
up in PMVIEW, using a double left mouse click. Right hand mouse click it and bring up
its properties. Under the "Type" tab make sure that file has the correct type association.
For example, if it is a *.jpg file, it should say "JPG" in the "Current types" column.

That should do it! If it doesn't, I don't know what else to tell you.
