Why ? (And this applies to Ray, as well.) All you
can possibly do this way is to verify what they are.
Then what ? You can't *do* anything with them. A
program like PMVIEW will let you do anything with them
that does not require heavy duty editing features such
as you would get with PhotoShop or GIMP. I rarely
need that sort of firepower, and have cropped,
resized, converted, cleaned up various problems etc.
with nothing more than PMVIEW. But it's not going to
happen in thin air, just opening it on the desktop.
