Hi HCM
Thanks for your reply and suggestion regarding my JPG problem.

I have tried exactly as you described inclusive rebooting plus =

properly done UniMaint, CheckINI and CleanINI !!!

Unfortunately there is NO change ;-(
In AssoEdit *JPG and *.JPG are listed and point to PMView only !!

The JPG object property displays Image ~viewer and PMView and =

doubleclicking an JPG object always opens it with the (unwanted) =

Image ^viewer !

I have abolutely no more idea where to check or switch to get rid of =

this st...d Image ^viewer ;-((

If I knew its location and correct name I would erase it straightaway
!? ;-O

Cheers/2, svobi

Sandy and svobi,
I'm going to ask you both to go back to the Association Editor program.
Please check =

and verify that *.jpg files, for example, are associated with PMView
both as follows:

1. Associations by file Type
2. Associations by file Filter

Then, please verify that, in both cases, PMView is the default, or
first program, =

associated with that graphic file type. Sometimes I've found that I've
had conflicting =

associations in the "by file Type" and "by file Filter" categories. And
when it conflicted, I =

got undesireable results when double clicking on that file type to open
it.

Now, if that does not work, or you did not have any conflicts in this
area, I suggest that =

you delete the PMView program from the *.jpg association (both "by file
Type" and "by =

file Filter"). Then, find the PMView program object on your desktop and
drag it to the =

"Associated with" box for both the "Associations by file Type" and
"Associations by file =

Filter". Then make PMView the default (the first or top program) to
associate with the =

*.jpg files. Do that in both the "Associations by file Type" and
"Associations by file =

Filter". My thought here is that perhaps you have an old, no longer
correct, file path to =

PMView in the Association Editor.

I suggest a reboot after you do the above. If any of the above fixes
your problem for the =

*.jpg file types, I suggest that you make the appropriate similar
changes for other =

graphic file types. Good luck.
HCM
