Subject:	SCOUG-Help: previous desktops

In my eCS 1.2R installation, I notice four subdirectories labeled
Previous, Previous Desktop or Previous.001. I tried deleting one of the
older subdirectories, but then when I reboot, many of the desktop icons no
longer worked (I think they lost their associations or something like
that).

I restored the subdirectory from a backup, and everything is now back to
normal. My question is can any of these subdirectories can ever be safely
deleted?
