Cables are typically not designed to be connected and disconnected a lot,
where the value of a lot depends on the cable technology. Just be sure
you have a spare. As long as you don't bend or break one of the male
pins, you should be OK. If you can find cables with lift-levers, it would
help you minimize the excess bending and wiggling forces.

These are not really an issue. Trays are designed for multiple cycles, so
the pins are tighter and the connectors are bolted on by more than just
solder joints and there are levers and guides to avoid bending and
twisting.
