I happened to look at my config.sys and found that my TZ parameter was not what
I had changed it to.
The clock application changes the config.sys automatically if it does not think
your TZ is correct. So go to "System Setup" -> "clock" and turn off automatic
updates and then replace your TZ parameter in config.sys with
SET TZ=PST8PDT,3,2,0,7200,11,1,0,7200,3600
if you are in the Pacific Time Zone.
