I don't think so. The only difference should be the voltage levels.

It's in the docs. Did you read them? It's not like it's that hard to
scan 60 lines of text.

I don't think so. It appears to respect the recording level set by the
mixer. It's always possible it's there but I missed it. You could drop
Paul a note and ask him.
