I could not find out what extra filtering they did, just that I could not turn
it off. All of the large ISPs filter email which is the main reason why I will
not use a large ISP.
Both my wife and I knew we were losing valid email which is why I looked into
the problem. I moved my domain from my ISP to godaddy and it got much worse
than my ISP (less than a week and I was looking for another hosting company).
Then I went searching again but this time after I asked the sales people if I
could turn off all spam filters and they said yes I called the support line and
asked there and many times got the opposite answer. Now my domain is on
pair.com and has all spam filtering turned off, so far I have not had any
indication of losing email.
