As I mentioned at the meeting, you probably needed it to support an CD
drive that was incompatible with the IBM drivers of the time.

The driver combo most of us use is
danis506.add
daniatapi.flt
Read the docs for a list of capabilities. Some older systems need the IBM
drivers.
