The HPFS.IFS delay is an eCS artifact. I have seen it on other eCS
installs as well. W4, same hardware, no delay. Config entries are below.

IFS=I:\OS2\HPFS.IFS /CACHE:2048 /CRECL:4 /AUTOCHECK:*
Whereas b4 setup the ZIP drive as a removable, a b3 installation on the
same machine has it as a fixed drive. DANIATAP has no switches in
either case.
I now trust my VOMs more than the on-board Volt meter. The power supply
is OK.
I lied, there is a second USB dual header on the MB, and manual says
eight, not six.
