I did not state that I only did that for OS/2 I also do it whenever I install
anything on windows.

Works fine for either.
When I was working for a living any PC I used ran OS/2, even when I was working
for companies that only gave their users windows machines. If they would not
supply me with OS/2 I would install it myself.
