Subject: SCOUG-Help: After Installing SeaMonkey

Hi All,

The Weilbacher-enhanced 1.1 build, to be precise.

O.K., this went easier than I thought . . . so far.
(This is in the eCS 1.2GA partition.) It picked up my
Moz Profiles, plugins, already installed extensions,
bookmarks etc. automatically. I had the GCC32.DLL and
the LIBC05.DLL at the install point, and placed them
in the SM root program directory, because that's what
I had had to do for Moz. I think the latter is still
needed by SM, not sure about the GCC.

First issue: check out the bottom portion of the first
jpeg I'm attaching to this post. Can't seem to get
rid of that plain area and whatever it is (javascript
?) that is overlaying it. I know I've seen this
before somewhere, but can't recall the details.

2nd. jpeg: this is a snap of the Moz extensions I had
installed. You'll see Adblock (I think with Filterset
G) and Flashblock on the list. Let me know if it's
too hard to read any of the others. Are any of these
no good for SM ? And are there any incompatible older
plugins I ought to jettison ?

I did get to my EarthLink Webmail with this, and it
was usable. However, as soon as I tried to scroll
with the mouse wheel, SM crashed. The PopupLog entry
is below.

I tend to be almost as resistant to updating software
as is Peter, but, eventually, I guess you gotta. I've
been geting consistent GKLAYOUT crashes on Moz 1.7.12
(also below) when trying to access CNN.Com pages.
We'll see how much more adept SM is at handling these
problems.

TIA

Jordan
