That is for MY mail box. For children I recommend filtering.

Doesn't make any difference who's kid it is. Pass the word on the the parents.
One thing I did not mention before is to make a backup after you have the
computer set up they way you want it. The computer will get a virus or trojan
or otherwise compromised (I can guarantee this) and will need to be cleaned
(the drive formatted) and restored.
