As I mentioned, this is what backups are for. The choices are simple.
Either you need to ability to fix what you break, or you need to ability
to restore a recent backup or you need the ability to do a fresh install
and start over. The choice is yours.
You may have misunderstood Ray somewhat. This happens. You can store the
bookmarks, mail and news data outside the profile directory. Within the
profile data, the pointers to thse files are full paths, which is what
allows them to be shared. The other profile data files must live within
the profile directory. This was done for for security reasons. To share
these files you use ZtBold to implement the copy function.
