Subject: SCOUG-Help: Soiund Card Install Help

Content Type: text/plain

I have been having sound problems also. I have a SBLive! PCI card which used to
work under eCS, several months ago. It still works on the dark side, so it's not
hardware. Mobo is an ASUS A7V133, running eCS 2.0RC2.

About an hour ago, I went back to a file that I knew worked once-upon-a-time:

uniaud_latest 489252 2005-08-02

Unzipped to x:\MMOS2, rebooted, and got a deafening sound from the speakers when
the WPS started! I had the volume cranked up a bit!

From there, I updated to the uniaud114RC2 & RC3 versions of the drivers, but
neither one works. :-(

Will try further experiments as time is available...
