Some time back I took a desktop to a meeting and got W4 to access a USB
drive. When I got it home I found that NET access no longer worked.
Now, different hardware - rather current - running an unmolested eCS
2.0RC2. NET access worked OK. USB did not - was installed on a
different machine. I ran USBcfg, changed the controller settings to
match what USBcfg found, and turned on all the verbose settings for
active devices. Now USB works - four bay card reader, NET doesn't -
"LAN Requester could not be started."
Run USBcfg, uncheck MSD, boot, NET works.
Some things never change.
