There are twenty pin and twenty four pin MB connectors. Some PSs have a
twenty pin and a four pin that clips on the end of the twenty. If the
MB has a twenty you just leave off the four.
The last bunch of PSs I got have a twenty pin, a four that clips on the
end, and another four pin in parallel with the first on a longer cable.
MB vendors put that four pin sometimes near the twenty and sometimes
far away. But I would expect a total of twenty four. Martin says his
has twenty eight. Not using all the connectors from the PS is common.
Not using all the pins on the MB is not.
