CD/DVD Writer: Plextor PX-755A SATA (SATA0, Port0)
Disk: 2 x Seagate ST373307LW U320 SCSI on MB channel A
Video: ATI X600Pro 256MB PCIe
Power: PC Power & Cooling TurboCool 850

This motherboard includes an integrated LSI 53c1030 u320 dual SCSI
controller and a dual integrated NIC via the NForce chipset.

I have been trying to get eCS 2.0RC2 installed with little success. I
had two Plextor SCSI optical drives attached on channel B which I was
attempting to use to install 2.0RC2. Due to many hangs during the
installation process where the CD drive would turn from green to
flashing yellow, I unhooked both drives and tried just using the PX-755A
on the SATA channel to do the install.

After re-configuring the BIOS to (theoretically) support this, and
flashing the BIOS to the latest version (V 1.03 --> V 1.05), I get the
following:

PCI.EXE shows bus 10 (it uses decimal) as being the onboard SCSI
controller, with function 1 being channel B. There is currently nothing
on this channel. The Plextor SCSI optical drives WERE attached here.

So, the questions:

1. How can the board be out of memory for the onboard SCSI controller?
2. What can I do about it?

There are no other cards in the system!

PCI output attached for reference.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, including, but not limited to,
pointers to educational material, pointers to documentation, and problem
solution!

I would especially appreciate any pointers to BIOS documentation. The
explanations in the Tyan manual are cryptic, at best.
