eCS 2.0RC2 seemed to be working so I tried to put it to work, and that
is when things got weird.
At the moment my primary machine is running a recent W4 UpDateCD, the
WEB machine is running eCS2.0b3, and the storage box is running
eCS2.0RC2. I'll refer to them as W4, b3 and RC2. All are sharing at
least one of their partitions. When I say one can "see" another I mean
it is listed in Create a Connection\Resource Location. And what it can
see it is able to connect to.
W4 and b3 can see other. b3 and RC2 can see each other. W4 and RC2
cannot see each other.
If I boot the WEB machine to eCS 2.0RC2, it and RC2 can see each other,
W4 can not see or be seen by either.
It seems b3 can see up and down stream but the gap is too big for either
of the others.
IBMLAN.INI all seem to have the same net name.
What am I missing?
Ray
