But in reality this same disaster could happen with a high quality power   
supply, only it might occur a year later.  
 
Maybe some of us could use a redundant PS situation. Can you imagine how   
big the box would be! Maybe eventually the aficionado will have his   
"internal" power supply in a separate box with its own type of back up   
system.
