When you say that you "can't get the prompt in an OS/2 window to change from C:\ to
G:" what exactly do you mean? That is, exactly what are you doing to change the
prompt (change the drive letter)?
Normally, at whatever prompt you have in the OS/2 window you should be able to type
in "G:" (without the quotation marks), press the "ENTER" key and then the window will
switch to the "G:" drive. So, ..., is that what you were doing?
Also, you can change the way the prompt looks in an OS/2 window session by
changing the command,
SET PROMPT
in the CONFIG.SYS file. See the OS/2 Command Reference guide (CMDREF.INF).

Back Again for OS/2 has been retired. The original software company was
Computer Data Strategies (CDS) out of Woodbury, Minnesota. That company was
eventually bought out by Intradyn, Incorporated (http://www.intradyn.com/). They
suggest that you send them an E-Mail at sales@intradyn.com, or contact Intrdyn sales
at (651) 203-4600, to "find a replacement product" for their "retired products".
If Intradyn is no help, you may have to purchase a copy off Ebay or something. Good
luck. Let me know how it works out.
