It might sound a lot like mine. When USB works as well as a floppy, as
in no drivers, I'll give up the floppy. It is kinda that way on some
machines.

Are you getting that message from a running system. I have never seen
that syntax.

There is probably also a swap floppy setting in the BIOS. Put disks in
both until you know which is which.
