I too want to use the MB network card and not an expansion slot card. The strategy that I   
adopted to make that happen on the next MB that I buy is as follows:  
 
	1.	Review the manufacturer's MB by downloading and reading the MB   
owner's manual  
 
	2.	Pick a MB that has the following two (2) qualities:  
			A.	A built-in LAN adapter that works with an existing OS/2   
LAN driver  
 
			B.	The LAN adapter does not share an IRQ with any   
other MB device
